How It Works

Aurora’s Promise is a Children’s Savings Account (CSA) program offering eligible kindergarten students in Aurora a $50 starter incentive and additional rewards to support future educational goals. The program is free to families and helps students save for college or career training after high school.

To participate, families must complete an opt-in form. The program is currently available to residents enrolled in kindergarten at District 131 or 129 public schools.

Accounts are held securely by Operation HOPE in partnership with U.S. Bank, and families can contribute to their child’s account at any time. Incentives are awarded for key milestones and disbursed as scholarships upon graduation and enrollment in a post-secondary program.
