Personalized Loan Solutions Eligibility

Able Up Iowa’s personalized loan solutions are available to all Iowans with a disability, diagnosis, or long-term condition, all Iowans 55+, and their caretakers. To receive a personalized financial solution, the applicant and/or loan recipient must be a resident of the State of Iowa at the time of the application. No applicant will be denied loans or services based on age, race, creed, gender identity, sexual orientation, religious affiliation, or type of disability.

Personalized Loan Solutions Application Process

The most expedited method to apply is to register in our on-line portal and fill out the application right here. Once you have set up the portal, you’ll be able to save a partial application and come back to it later to finish or to upload the requested supplemental documents.  Please be as thorough and as accurate as possible before you hit submit.  In addition, we’ll use that portal to allow you to electronically sign your loan documents when the time comes.  It is very important to start with this step, as it will save time and frustration later.

If you prefer to print a hard copy and fill it out that way, please fill it out completely, make copies of your supplemental documents and you may securely send everything to us:

Please note, Credit Builder loans are 1-year, $500 loans with a monthly payment of $44.95.  All other loan types are eligible for our SDL program, a loan program with a maximum loan size of $2,500 at 10% with terms up to 5 years. Assistive Technology, Home Modification and Vehicle Modification loans may be available in higher amounts, up to $10,000, depending on funding. You may be waitlisted if you request the higher dollar option.
